Write a firm, professional overdue-payment notice to an insurance claims administrator with ChatGPT
Jon Styles, co-owner of an Optic-Kleer auto glass franchise in St. Augustine, Florida, interviewed by AGRR Magazine
ChatGPT drafts a final-notice letter from the job details he gives it: the replacement date, the insured's name, the vehicle, the unpaid administrator, and his plan to contact the insurer and the insured if there is no reply within a week.

The problem
Three months after an April 1 windshield replacement, the third-party administrator handling the insurance claim still had not paid or communicated, and he had no time to write a careful letter with customers waiting.
What happened
"ChatGPT gave me a perfectly worded draft to send," Styles says. "I barely had to edit it." He says it used the exact tone he wanted and saved him a "ton of time and stress." The article does not say whether the payment was received.

How to set it up yourself
- What Styles did: described the unpaid job to ChatGPT (replacement date, insured's name, vehicle make and model, the administrator that hadn't paid, and a one-week deadline before contacting the insurer and the insured) and sent the draft with light edits.
- Pull the facts from your invoice and claim record first: invoice number, date of service, claim or referral number, amount owed, and every date you followed up and how. Use only what you can prove.
- Open ChatGPT and paste the prompt below with those facts. If you'd rather not share the customer's full name, use initials and the claim number, then add the name back in your own email or letterhead.
- Read it once for accuracy, then send it from your business email and log the deadline date in your calendar so you follow through on the next step you named.
