How to set it up yourself

1. What Palmer Care Chiropractic does: the owner uploads clinic P&Ls to AI and asks it to act as his CFO and name the top three changes for profit, and the group linked its four KPIs to every clinic's P&L so a change in one shows its effect. The tool isn't named; the steps use ChatGPT or Claude.
2. Export the last 12 months of P&L from your accounting software as a spreadsheet, one per location if you have more than one, plus your monthly KPIs (new patients, conversion, dollars per visit, visits per patient). Remove payroll detail by name if you don't want it in the tool, and use a paid plan whose terms say your data isn't used for training.
3. In a ChatGPT or Claude project named "CFO", upload the files and paste the prompt below. Ask follow-ups in the same chat: "show the math", "what if new patients rise 10%", "which clinic is the outlier".
4. Check every number it quotes against the P&L itself before acting, and take big decisions to your accountant. Repeat monthly with the new export so the project builds up history.
