The problem
Some traditional Chinese dishes she wanted to serve, like a yolk-custard bun, are common in China but little known in Colorado, and their usual names didn't mean much to English-speaking diners.
What happened
The Golden Lava Bun is on the Noodles by Nina menu; the paper says she renamed it to help boost sales but gives no sales figures. "I'm always like, 'Okay, let me ask ChatGPT if American people will like it,'" Zhang says. "I think it's a really good tool. You don't have to pay for an assistant."
