Make an event flyer with ChatGPT as your graphic designer, finish it in Canva and turn event photos into a CapCut post in minutes
Saul Garcia, owner of Dawg Pack CrossFit in Montebello, California, on a PushPress webinar
He calls ChatGPT, Canva and CapCut his "three-headed monster." For a holiday-party flyer he tells ChatGPT to act as a graphic designer for the gym, asks for a retro-cartoon poster for members "in the 28 to 45 range," and uploads his logo for brand colors. While it renders he picks a matching flyer template in Canva to finish the design. When ChatGPT invented a party date, he asked it to "Move the date and time and replace it with please RSVP." For video he drops photos into a CapCut "photo dump" template for Instagram Stories and uses CapCut to caption talking-head videos. He keeps his prompts in one shared Google Doc he keeps updating, and says he is building GPTs for audience segmentation and for brand and coach voice.

The problem
Gym owners get bogged down making content: "we love making content until it's time to make a lot of content and then we hate it." He also warns that AI copy "sounds way too much like a machine and not like you" unless you feed it your gym's details.
What happened
He says the flyer took "less than five minutes." After a joint event with a nearby gym, he dumped the photographer's photos into CapCut and had a post up in "less than 10 minutes, 10 to 15 minutes." No engagement or sales figures are given. Self-reported in a webinar hosted by gym-software company PushPress; his segment uses general tools, not PushPress features.

How to set it up yourself
- What Dawg Pack CrossFit does: Saul Garcia asks ChatGPT to act as the gym's graphic designer for an event flyer, finishes it in a Canva template, and drops event photos into a CapCut photo-dump template for Instagram Stories.
- Start a doc with your gym's facts: member age range, tone, coaches' voice, brand colors. Keep your best prompts in it and reuse them.
- Paste the prompt below into ChatGPT and upload your logo. While it renders, open Canva and pick a flyer template in the same style.
- Check the result for anything it made up (Garcia's first version invented a party date) and ask it to fix it, then finish the text and layout in Canva.
- After the event, put the best photos into a CapCut photo-dump template sized for Instagram Stories and post it the same day.
