How to set it up yourself
- What Rhino Electric Services does: the owner talks his ideas into ChatGPT, has it turn them into documents and SOPs, and asked ChatGPT and Claude to review an employee handbook that an HR company had already helped write.
- For an SOP: open the ChatGPT app, start a voice chat and talk through the job the way you'd explain it to a new hire (for example, how a service call runs from the driveway to the invoice). Then paste the first prompt below.
- For the handbook: upload it to a paid ChatGPT or Claude plan whose terms say your data isn't used for training, and ask for a gap list with the second half of the prompt. Take the gaps to your HR company or employment lawyer; AI isn't one.
- Have the person who does the job read each SOP and mark what's wrong before it goes in the binder. If you look up job candidates online, don't treat an AI search as a background check; hiring decisions based on background information have legal rules, so use a proper screening service.
