ChatGPT came up with a label concept and design from about 20 minutes of prompting, then walked Gully through building the label layer by layer in Adobe Illustrator. They also use ChatGPT and Claude for market research, retailer research, consolidating orders and checking whether ideas are legal.

The problem
The founders needed labels for meals sold in grocery stores and didn't know how to use Adobe Illustrator, and the retailers they work with require a lot of paperwork.
What happened
The label concept took about 20 minutes of prompting and the final design about 15 more; learning Illustrator with ChatGPT's walkthrough took about a day. Gully says AI "took our reliance off of 'experts'" and that the Illustrator lesson was where they got the most value. They pay $20 a month for ChatGPT and $21 a month for Claude Premium. How to set it up yourself

- Gather what the label must carry before you prompt: product name, net weight, ingredients, allergens, nutrition facts, your business name and address, barcode, and the retailer's label spec sheet.
