Photograph your empty vases and have ChatGPT show arrangement options before you cut a stem, then have it describe your finished designs
Ashley Greer, owner and floral designer of Atelier Ashley Flowers in Alexandria, Virginia, in her own piece for the Alexandria Zebra
After a client job, Greer photographed the actual vases and bases she had used, before adding flowers, and asked ChatGPT Images to show three versions of each: round and tight, round and bouncy/wild, and wild and asymmetrical, removing flowers she'd decided against. Then she showed it her finished arrangements and had it describe how they differed in balance, density, movement and mood, and identify the flowers.

The problem
Clients often can't put into words what style they want, and a florist can only see one version of an arrangement once the stems are cut.
What happened
She called the images "polished provocations, several possible outcomes made visible before I cut a single stem," and wrote: "I could easily see myself building a library of blooms and using this technology to streamline proposals." This was a test, not yet a fixed workflow, and she gave no time or sales figures.

How to set it up yourself
- What Atelier Ashley Flowers tried: Ashley Greer photographed her empty vases and asked ChatGPT Images for three styles of each arrangement, then had it describe her finished work.
- Photograph the client's vase or your base on a plain background, and list the flowers you have (and any you're ruling out).
- Upload the photo with the prompt below and ask for three versions in named styles. Treat the images as a talking point, not a promise of the final piece.
- Show the client the options so they can point to what they like, then design the real arrangement yourself.
- Afterward, upload a photo of the finished piece and ask ChatGPT to describe its balance, density, movement and mood. Save those words for future proposals (her idea of a bloom library).
Copy-paste prompt
Here is a photo of an empty vase I'll use for a client arrangement. Show me three versions of an arrangement in this exact vase: 1) round and tight, 2) round and loose/wild, 3) wild and asymmetrical. Use only these flowers: {FLOWER LIST}. Don't use: {FLOWERS TO LEAVE OUT}. Keep the vase exactly as it looks in the photo. We set up one AI automation in your tools, live within 48 hours of getting access, for $197. No call needed.
