Let Imagen AI do the first cull and edit of a photo session, write client guides in Claude and draft client email replies with Gemini in Gmail
Kelli White, owner of Kelli White Photography, a brand photography and video business in Westfield, Indiana, on her own blog
Imagen AI does her first pass of culling and basic edits: she uploads a session, it picks the best shots on focus, exposure and composition and applies edits similar to her style. Lightroom's built-in AI handles sky replacement and subject masking, Canva's AI and Bulk Create batch social post ideas from her session themes, and Descript's transcription helps her find moments in long video clips. She uses Claude for blog posts and client guides ("it maintains a more consistent tone"), ChatGPT for session ideas, email subject lines and captions, and Gemini in Gmail to draft replies to common client questions from her previous emails, which she reviews and personalizes. Lately she also uses Claude Cowork for file organization, content pipelines and blog drafts. She doesn't upload client photos to AI tools without the client's explicit permission.
Her figure: Imagen AI about $30/mo for moderate use. Catalog: ChatGPT Free $0; Go $8/mo; Plus $20/mo; Pro $100/mo · Claude $17/mo billed annually ($20 monthly) · Google Gemini $4.99/mo (Google AI Plus); free plan available · Canva and Descript prices on their tool pages

The problem
After a brand session she can have 800 photos to cull, and answering the same questions from potential clients by email "used to eat up entire afternoons."
What happened
For a Carmel headshot client, "Instead of spending two hours culling through 600 photos, Imagen AI narrowed it down to 150 strong options in about 15 minutes." She says Imagen "cuts my initial editing time in half." Self-reported.

How to set it up yourself
- What Kelli White Photography does: Imagen AI makes the first cull and basic edit of each session in her style, Claude writes blog posts and client guides, ChatGPT handles session ideas and captions, and Gemini in Gmail drafts replies to common client questions that she reviews.
- Pick the job that eats the most time. For culling, run an AI culling tool (she uses Imagen AI) on one of your own past sessions and compare its picks with the ones you delivered before you trust it with client work.
- For client emails, collect your best replies to the questions you get every week (pricing, what to wear, turnaround) and paste them into Claude or ChatGPT with the prompt below to make reusable drafts.
- Read and personalize every draft before it goes out, and don't upload client photos to an AI tool without the client's permission; she keeps client work in her editing software until she has explicit consent.
