The problem
Every new product on a purchase order had to be keyed into the POS by hand (image, description, SKU, barcode, price), so she paid someone just to do data entry. Tracking spending against an open-to-buy budget was manual too.
What happened
Early beta, no numbers yet. A few weeks in, she says she is 'already encouraged' and lists cutting the labor hours spent on manual product entry as the main money-saver.
